Originally started as a comedy site run by Phoebe (harsh noise extraordinaire, psionic Leninist warrior, card-carrying internet terrorist) and willwallz (multimedia supertalent enterprise, poster girl, psychedelic nu-jazz queen, ne’er-do-well tar-coated beast), the website of okaythanksbye was filled to the brim with jokes intended to make the reader guffaw in delight, but slowly developed into a pustulating abscess of creativity, boundlessly ebbing and flowing through the micro-annals of online fads.
Coated in a strong veneer of delinquent sarcasm and post-adolescent apathy, okaythanksbye is not only the de facto authority on existence itself, but is meant to eradicate the ever-changing and low-attention span environment that has plagued society for the past decade by means of garishly transgressive theatrics through mediums including, but not limited to:
